The morning after her 3 year old's funeral, single mother Cassie is confronted with the news that her little boy's estranged father has been located. Armed with a box with their child's belongings, Cassie makes the journey to introduce her ex-love to the son he never knew. Along the way, their relationship unfolds in a series of bittersweet memories that, ultimately, lead her to his door.
